Poem...

The waves are coming although the beach is dry

The tears from heaven will soon fall from the sky

Cupid’s arrow has pierced through the angels above

To create pools of anger instead of pools of love

The train is rolling in from all the way down the line

Butterflies all a flutter bestowing shudders down my spine

The beauty of tomorrow seems nonexistent and lambaste

Longing for the splendor that was ignored in the past

I bought you six eggs from the market down the street

You were disappointed I didn’t lay a half dozen at your feet

The wind was swirling around with flowers in the air

But the spring showers came and spun the picture into despair

How quickly we fell from the first spot within your mind

Replaced without thought to which you remain mute and blind

The days of letters, candy, hugs, laughter, love and joy

Have been long forgotten through your aged version of coy

The brew is being mixed and the pot feverishly stirred

As the tears stream down making all visions blurred

A fairytale dream of happiness for all to envy and adore

To which the raven laughs and infamously quotes “nevermore”

Prayers and pleas for you to return like a zombie from the grave

That this is all just a stage to be washed away in that single wave

The hope that you will return and the mourning can end

To have back the love of my mother and my friend

what a beautiful poem.

I used to write poetry all the time usually when I was upset or angry or confused.

may life get easier or less confused for you sooner rather than later...
